Interestingly, the number of people who are interested in deep sea fishing continues to increase which has caused an increase in the television audience who view these tournaments as well.

Finally, some of the leading deep sea fishers in the world today have started to attract sponsors - quite like the case in the auto racing world. These individuals are paid money and in return they use products associated with particular sponsors in their deep sea fishing efforts.
